ARC (Awakening Respect and Compassion for all Sentient Beings) 
Join us for an extra special version of our monthly cafe featuring a delicious vegan soul food menu followed by what is sure to be an enlightening presentation by inspiring food justice activist Brenda Sanders.

Brenda is a vegan food justice activist in Baltimore City who Co-Founded Thrive Baltimore, a community resource center that offers classes, workshops, cooking demos and other programming that promote a healthier, kinder, more sustainable lifestyle. She’s also Executive Director of Afro-Vegan Society, a nonprofit organization that provides resources to people in marginalized communities to assist them in transitioning to veganism, Co-Creator of Vegan SoulFest, a massive annual festival that celebrates culture and all aspects of vegan living and Co-Owner of The Greener Kitchen, a plant-based deli and food distributor whose mission is to make plant-based foods accessible and affordable.

As always, ARC dinners are by donation. Pay what you can. Donations go to supporting this cafe and ARC's mission to inspire respect and compassion for all sentient beings through education and outreach, while helping to provide the practical tools necessary to live a life that reflects that respect and compassion. If you would like to sign-up to volunteer to help with the cafe, please message us. We always need volunteers! And are so grateful for your help! Volunteers are need for setting up between 4 and 6, help with serving food from 6-7, and help with clean up from 6-9.

We are open for dinner the fourth Saturday of every month, from 6-9 pm. We serve a buffet style gourmet plant-based whole foods dinner from 6:00- 7:30. Movies or featured guest speakers start at 7:30 (unless otherwise noted.)

Our menu changes with the seasons but will always feature fresh, organic whole foods, usually a main entree, a couple salads and some decadent desserts- all vegan of course! 

Our regular dinners are by donation (pay what you can). Thank you! All proceeds go towards helping support our mission of helping spread compassion for all sentient beings.
